Just a few years ago, aircraft spotters would make do with scanners, binoculars and maybe a camera - Aviation Photography.

Today using newly developed ADS-B (Automatic dependent surveillance-broadcasttechnology - which is the future of radar technology tracking aircraft is possible with more precise location.


A surveillance technology in which an aircraft determines its position via satellite navigation and periodically broadcasts it, enabling it to be tracked. The information can be received by air traffic control ground stations as a replacement for secondary radar
