Yes, it is "Agatti Airport".It was inaugurated on 16 April 1988, initially Indian Airlines started operating Dornier 228 flights from Kochi (then Cochin) on daily basis for boosting tourist attraction towards this small location. The total area of the airport is approximated to be only 45.9 acres. This airstrip is under the complete control of Airports Authority of India.

It has only one asphalt Runway (04/22) of 1.2 km long and 30 meters wide, its a small airport with small runway area. The terminal building is small and can handle only one turboprop aircraft at a time, no separate parking bay, the aircraft(s) are parked in the runway itself hence making it only one directional take-off and landing airport. Currently there is a plan going on for constructing a parking bay to accommodate two ATR aircrafts at a time and to construct a new control tower and fire station.
Air India Regional (Alliance Air) is the only airline which is currently flying there from Bangalore and Kochi (BLR-COK-AGX) using an ATR42-300 and the flight number is AI 9501, Pawan Hans also provides Helicopter service to this tiny airstrip.
