IndiGo places largest global order for 250 A-320 neo jets with Airbus
In the largest aircraft order in terms of number of aircraft, IndiGo has announced to buy 250 Airbus 320 neo (new engine option) today.
The deal would be worth over $25.5 billion or Rs 1.55 lakh crore, as per the list price per aircraft.
This order by IndiGo will also be the largest by the airline. The airline had earlier ordered 100 aircraft in 2005 and another 180 aircraft in 2011.
