Air India's new Cabin Crew Uniforms.. Flying Colours

The national carrier, Air India, has got a makeover of sorts. While retaining the traditional saree as part of the cabin crew uniform, the airline introduced kurtis, churidars and trousers to give a more contemporary look to its flight attendants.

The national carrier spent around Rs 8 crore in dressing up its 18,000 cabin crew members. The uniform was designed by the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT).
