Did You Know?


India contributes in the manufacturing of the Boeing's latest commercial airliner, the Boeing 787 Dream)Liner. Boeing actually doesn't manufacture complete plane, rather it "assembles" it. Parts are manufactured in other countries and then flown to USA for final assembly. Wings are made by Japan, tails by S.Korea and Italy, doors by France, etc.

India contributes the software for flight controls, provided by HCL Enterprise. Also, floor beams (beams are long rectangular cross-sectional rods to support flat object above them) are made by Tata.
