Air Odisha to resume service

Air Odisha, a Bhubaneshwar based private company who used to offers regional short houl intra-state connectivity between several cities such as Sambalpur, Jharsuguda, Jeypore and Rourkela. It is now resuming their operations to these cities under Ministry of Civil Aviation's ambitious Regional Connectivity Scheme called Udan.Under the Udan scheme, it will fly to Utkela in Kalahandi district, Jharsuguda, Rourkela and Jeypore from the state capital. The western and south-west Odisha will be connected by air after the operation. While, the first flight will be running in July to Rourkela, the operations for other three destinations will start in September 2017. The airline will operate 19 seater Cessna 208 Caravan which is a single engine tourboprop, short-houl airliner & utility aircraft.
